These orders are dealt with by amendment of the sections of the Acts which confer the powers transferred.
DELEGATIONS UNDER SECTION 37
The Exercise of the powers and the performance of the duties of the Registrar-General, the Public Trustee or the Official Receiver shall, during his absence or inability to act from illness or any other cause, be exercised and performed by the Deputy Registrar-General, the Deputy Public Trustee or the Official Receiver, as the case may be.
All other delegations are recorded as footnotes to the sections of the Acts conferring the powers delegated.

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 38(1) of the Interpretation and General Provisions Act, the Attorney-General delegates to –
THE NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR LAW REPORTING
established under the National Council for Law Reporting Act, 1994 (No. 11 of 1994), the powers of law revision conferred on the Attorney-General by sections 7 and 8 of the Revision of the Laws Act (Cap. 1), subject to such conditions as the Attorney-General may, by notice in writing to the Council, from time to time specify.
This Notice shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 15th October, 2007.

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 38 (1) of the Interpretation and General Provisions Act, the Cabinet Secretary for Lands and Physical Planning delegates to the—
Director-Land Administration, Deputy Director-
Land Administration, Senior Assistant Director-Land Administration, Assistant Director, Land Administration, Principal Land Administration
Officer, and Chief Land Administration Officer,
the power to issue leases or licences conferred on the Cabinet Secretary by section 23(2) of the Land Act, No. 6 of 2012.
This Notice shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 18th January, 2019.

DELEGATION OF POWERS IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Cabinet Secretary to the Treasury (Incorporation) Act, as read with section 38 of the Interpretation and General Provisions Act, the Cabinet Secretary for National Treasury and Planning delegates the powers vested in him under section 4 of the Cabinet Secretary to the Treasury (Incorporation) Act to the Principal Administrative Secretary in the National Treasury, for the purpose of the execution of leases for properties occupied by public schools and leases relating to Civil Servants Tenant Purchase Agreements that were pending as on the date of this Notice.
