SENTENCE
1. I have considered that the accused is a first offender and that he has been in remand for 6 years now. He says he is the sole breadwinner.
2. The deceased is his wife, and was defenceless. The attack was very vicious with the deceased having been stabbed several times.
3. I sentence the accused to the maximum sentence. He will suffer death as provided for by law.
