RE: BABY D K( AN INFANT)
RULING
This is an application for international adoption. The infant to be adopted is DENNIS KARANJA a minor. The Applicants GIOVANNI TANI and CLAUDIA BACHERINI who are Italian Nationals, a married couple for 9 years have been evaluated appropriately and seem to me to qualify in terms of the statutory provisions set out in the Children’s Act No. 8 of the Kenya Laws. I am satisfied that this adoption is in the best interest of the minor and I allow it. It is, therefore, ordered that the infant DENNIS KARANJA be adopted by the said GIOVANNI TANI and CLAUDIA BACHERINI jointly herewith and on adoption the infant be known as DENNIS KARANJA TANI.
